St. Scholastica's College (SSC) is a Catholic school for women founded in 1906. Run and managed by the Benedictine Sisters of Tutzing, the school has striven to remain true to its thrust of education for justice and social transformation. From this thrust flows the school’s commitment to enable the various sectors of the academic community to a greater sensitivity to and awareness of the pressing issues that impact on everyone’s life: economic injustice, environmental degradation and gender inequality.
